i've mentioned it to jimbo, i don't know what the problem is w/ it or why that happens -- i'm guessing ti's a result of some antispam stuff he's done recently, but can't really say. the changes are made, but it doesn't display them on the edit. --[[User:Dave|Dave]] 13:29, 4 Jan 2006 (EST)

If you know of a convenient patch to add that to mediawiki, I'd probably use it.  Be damned if I'll try to AUTHOR one myself, though. =)

I'm aware that occasionally it throws a MySQL error, but I haven't been motivated enough to chase it down yet 'cause, well, the edits still actually WORK and nothing seems to have a major problem.  At some point I'll drop the database and reindex the tables and see if that helps.

[edit] type-the-letters authentication

If you know of a convenient patch to add that to mediawiki, I'd probably use it. Be damned if I'll try to AUTHOR one myself, though. =)

I'm aware that occasionally it throws a MySQL error, but I haven't been motivated enough to chase it down yet 'cause, well, the edits still actually WORK and nothing seems to have a major problem. At some point I'll drop the database and reindex the tables and see if that helps.
