The blanket statement that portmanager is better than portupgrade is not well illustrated by the link to a description of a common error that shows up when you use '-a' instead of '-ra' or '-raR'.  For another example, is it really "better" (rather than "simpler") that this tool automatically uninstalls ports that have been deleted from the port tree</ins>?
